I believe that Northampton should be a place where anyone can make a life for themselves and comfortably retire. If I have the honor of serving as your mayor, I’m ready to work with everyone in our community so we can build a more vibrant, more accessible, and more equitable Northampton.

This year has brought unimaginable challenges and for many it has been personally devastating. The pandemic has laid bare the inequities and injustices of many broken systems in our country. While hard, these moments can also shine a light on the need for systemic change, and spur us to act.

As the City Council President, Finance Committee Chair, and a four-term City Councilor, I have the deep experience, the proven commitment, the energy, and the passion to be the progressive leader who can seize this opportunity. I promise to approach the job of Mayor as I have the job of City Councilor: show up, listen, bring us together, and get things done that matter to the people of Northampton, Florence, and Leeds.
